Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy)

Located at Hilcrest & Morrinsville

She has five + years' experience with a wide range of ACC rehabilitation contracts. Her work has included pain management, vocational rehabilitation, concussion services, training for independence, complex needs assessments and workplace assessments. She supports clients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Summer also has experience in return-to-work planning, equipment recommendations and functional assessments. She completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy through Otago Polytechnic and Wintec. She has also completed postgraduate study in Vocational Rehabilitation and Trauma Informed Care, along with training in dementia, traumatic brain injury, motivational interviewing, first aid and volunteer firefighting.

Summer is currently completing her postgraduate study in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation while continuing her work with ACC clients in our clinic and community rehabilitation services.
