Kat has 15+ years' Physiotherapy experience and a special interest in supporting women to regain function and strength before and after childbirth.

Kat has experience treating a wide range of Women's & Pelvic Health conditions including bladder and bowel concerns (incontinence, urgency and constipation), pregnancy-related pelvic pain and back pain, pelvic floor checks after childbirth, blocked ducts and recurrent mastitis.

Originally from Auckland, Kat holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) and a Postgraduate Certificate (Acupuncture) from AUT. She is also a qualified Pilates / Oov instructor and where appropriate can incorporate 1:1 Mat and Reformer Pilates sessions into treatment plans for her clients.

Prior to focussing on the Pelvic Health, Kat gained experience across a wide range of general musculoskeletal fields, including sports physiotherapy. As a keen sportswoman, Kat was always fascinated with how the human body works and what you can do to improve performance. Kat's experience includes being a Sports Physiotherapist for a number of elite sports teams including NZ Junior Track Cyclists, NZ Futsal, Auckland Football Federation Women’s Premiers and Auckland Women’s Sevens.
